“ After living in NYC and LA, we were elated to find this spot in KC that felt like our citys own twist on our old goto sushi bars. We went for lunch during the week and had the pleasure of meeting the owner. The service was impeccable and we loved loved loved the food presentation. The ambiance, too, is excellent. Great for a quick lunch or an evening out for cocktails dinner. Cant wait to go back! ”
“ Excellent food and service. We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food was as good as it gets. But what I really want to mention is how awesome the service was. The restaurant was really busy and running late. we werent in a hurry, so it wasnt a big deal, but the person at the front of the restaurant kept checking on us to make sure we were okay and had drinks. Then when we sat down at the bar to eat the gentleman helping us was awesome helping us navigate the menu and when my wife had a question about something went above and beyond to make sure she was happy. This is truly a fantastic place with excellent service. ”
“ This place is my new favorite! Been here a few times now, and the food is delicious. You should make a reservation, because the seating is limited. Seating surrounds the sushi chefs in a c design and you get to watch each handroll being made. You can also order other fresh seafood items from menu which are prepared in the back kitchen. Seafood if fresh, flavorful and creative. Its more pricey for the meal but in my opinion worth it. Its a unique must try restaurant in KC and Im so glad its here!! ”

They also had the best lychee martini Ive ever had! They wont seat you until your entire party arrives, but they have a super cute lounge area where you can order cocktails while you wait. “ Our first impressions were unsettling and unsure of what to expect. We made a reservation in advance for our friends birthday and there was a wait time. Their waiting lounge area was nice and you can order drinks while you wait. As we approached the dining area, we were astounded by the concept! Everything is delicious here and we were blown away by how theyve perfected the items on their menu! The handrolls, crudos, small plates phenomenal!! If you do not have a palate of enjoying raw fish and the concoctions, this may not be for you. The owner even made a round to greet guests and we will most definitely be coming back! ”
